About Us

About Lend a Hand Home Care

The founders, Reno residents, created Lend a Hand as the first non-medical home care agency in northern Nevada. Though ownership has changed, the mission to serve the growing Reno area community remains the same.

Under its new ownership, Lend a Hand Home Care seeks to provide unparalleled service and the highest quality of care. We do this by hiring the most qualified and professional caregivers while integrating technology that allows us to be responsive, proactive leaders who advocate for the wellbeing of greater Reno’s older adults and others who need in-home care services.

As a local home care provider, we focus on forward-thinking care solutions that incorporate technology to streamline business processes and maintain strict compliance, allowing caregivers more time to focus on developing longstanding relationships with the clients we serve. Our goal is to provide education and services that encourage wellbeing and redefine what aging care can be.

We emphasize recruiting and retaining team members who are passionate about personal growth, making a difference in their communities and in the lives of others, and we welcome creative ideas in how we deliver the most exceptional home care services in the area.

Best of Home Care Provider of ChoiceWe are also honored to have earned the distinctions of Best of Home Care – Provider of Choice and Best of Home Care – Employer of Choice by Home Care Pulse, an independent third-party satisfaction measurement and quality improvement firm that gathers feedback from our clients and caregivers to assess satisfaction levels in a variety of categories.
